ERGONOMICS IN CAVANNA:

THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE PACKAGING

Cavanna, has always been very keen to prevent the accidents and promote the workers’ health and safety. For more than 10 years it has focused on ergonomics.
Two years ago Cavanna started a development plan to renew the design of equipments, loaders, wrappers, belt conveyors to comply with the strictest rules of ergonomics..

The accident prevention and workers protection policy is followed by all the countries in the world, both the countries that rely their economy on a high degree of technology and those that still rely it mostly on labour, often widely available at low cost. As a matter of fact, it is in the latter ones that Cavanna mostly focused its efforts. The results achieved were highly appreciated by some world wide corporations.

A new production life for an existing wrapping line

The upgrading and revamping intervention carried out by Cavanna Service on an existing old wrapping line, which had been in operation for more than 10 years, increased performance, added new functionalities, facilitated easier operational use and increased its operational life
