"Business Award for Women's companies - 2nd Edition" 28/01/2014

Courage, tenacity and teamwork: these are the qualities highlighted by the winning companies of the " Business Award for Women's companies - 2nd Edition " which are awarded Wednesday, December 18th, 2013 at the Chamber of Commerce of Novara.

Cavanna S.p.A. has been awarded for the best project of social responsibility.

The initiative was sponsored by the Committee for the promotion of female entrepreneurship.
of Novara's Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with other organizations and under the patronage of the Province and Municipality of Novara.
The second edition of this award seeks to highlight the work done by "pink" companies of the territory and reward those companies not run by women who have distinguished themselves for effective social responsibility policies or for the enhancement of managerial roles for women.
Originality, innovation, promotion of the territory, internationalization and social responsibility
were criteria adopted by the Committee to evaluate the applications received.

"Entrepreneurs, together with the employees, live an extreme hardship situation", debuted Paolo Rovellotti, president of the Chamber of Commerce of Novara. The absolute lack of consideration of their role as generators of wealth and well-being requires action cohesive by all, beginning from the employers' associations." Critical issues are also shared by the president of the Committee for the promotion of female entrepreneurship Anna Ida Russo: "Doing business in Italy today is not easy, especially if you are female, then when the initiatives are promoted in favor of the territory are even more deserving. Many small concrete actions will make the difference - added Russo - This is why we decided to reward the winning companies by giving them a training course."
The president has delivered two more awards: Cavanna S.p.A., situated in Prato Sesia, has been awarded for the best project of social responsibility, while Carla Ceriotti of Riseria Ceriotti S.r.l has distinguished herself as the best manager woman.
The council member Sara Paladini told to the award-winning: "You are the best picture of the country: I thank you for your six stories, different, but united by the activity and quality, are a good example of companies that believe and invest, leaving an important legacy in our territory. "
