«DZIEN DOBRY», «ECARO» the Polish and nigerian greeting in the temple of packaging 15/06/2013

«Dzien Dobry!», «Ecaro!» that is to say: «Good Morning!» in Polish or in Nigerian.
The above welcoming words greeted our guests on Saturday 15th June at Cavanna's premises in Prato Sesia for 30 food producers (of biscuits, chocolate bars, crackers) coming from Eastern Europe and Africa who attended the Open House which took place in the factory located in the Sesia Valley.

The "Good Morning" greeting was also spoken in Russian, Ukrainian, Bulgarian, Algerian, Tunisian and Libyan ie. in the languages of all the other countries where Cavanna has strengthened its business relationships throughout the last years and installed the wrapping lines which had allowed an improvement in the shelf-life preservation of food products.
The foreign producers spent some days in Italy to attend the Packology Exhibition in Rimini.
Afterwards they saw a line running for the wrapping of ladyfingers directly in the factory of one of the greatest Italian producers located in Veneto.
They ended their tour attending the Open House at the factory in Prato Sesia. On this occasion the CEOs Mr. Riccardo and Mrs. Alessandra Cavanna presented the future plans of the company and the goals reached in the last year.
The event had been extended to allow journalists and TV operators to underline Cavanna's intentions to open the doors as much as possible and to let people know the company's intentions for the future.
The results achieved by the company confirm the intuition had by its founder, Mario Cavanna in the Fifties during his travels to the USA which was aimed to search for innovations in the packaging field.
He discovered flow-wrapping from the need to wrap the rations for the army, and he saw the great potential and markets for the Italian food industry looking with mistrust at the spread of a new sales system, the supermarket.
During the Open House, the thirty clients directly checked the high level technology achieved by the Group within the horizontal packaging field. In particular, they could see in our workshop several lines under final testing, among which was a line for the wrapping of biscuits to be delivered to the South American market which allowed for better handling of fragile and crumbly products.
It was also the occasion to inaugurate the new Testing Lab meeting point to discover news ideas and devices for the packaging field.
